Telavancin hydrochloride  (Synonyms: TD-6424 hydrochloride)

Cat. No.: HY-16485
Handling Instructions

Telavancin hydrochloride is the hydrochloride form of Telavancin (HY-112959). Telavancin hydrochloride is a semisynthetic derivative of vancomycin, and exhibits antibacterial efficacy through inhibition of cell wall synthesis and disruption of cell membrane barrier function. Telavancin hydrochloride is efficient against antibiotic resistant S. aureus strains MRSA, VISA, and hVISA. Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
