In Vitro

GR 87389 is a non-peptide and peptide tachykinin antagonist with Ki values of 4.0, 5.2, and 14 nM for hippocampus, urinary bladder and duodenum, respectively[1].
GR 87389 (30-300 nM) antagonized GA 64349-induced smooth muscle strips contractions in human isolated detrusor, prostate and prostatic urethra[2].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
