Description

Fervenulin has nematicidal activity and inhibits egg hatch and J2 mortality of M. incognita with MICs of 30 μg/mL and 120 μg/mL, respectively[1].

IC50 & Target

Nematicidal[1]

In Vitro

Fervenulin shows a broad range of biological activities, e.g., in vitro antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic, and antitumor properties. Fervenulin shows killing effect on second-stage nematode juveniles of M. incognita up to 100% after incubation for 96 h at the concentration of 250 μg/mL[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
