APTAB is a fluorescent cationic membrane probe. APTAB locates the anthracene-labeled molecules incorporated into model membranes by fluorescence quenching[1].

In Vitro

Guidelines (Following is our recommended protocol. This protocol only provides a guideline, and should be modified according to your specific needs).
1. Prepare APTAB in water with a concentration of 50 µM.
2. Mix APTAB with sample in a 10 mL volumetric flask, and then sonication for 5 min.
3. Store sample in dark for 1 day.
4. Measure resorufin fluorescence[1].
